Fuel Price in Sea Oil gasoline station in Tigbauan, Iloilo last June 29, 2011. The picture is a little bit blurred, but the fuel type with the P57.05 per liter price is the same type of the unleaded gasoline of other fuel companies. The diesel fuel costs P45.80 per liter.

Shell gasoline station located in Sto. Domingo, Villa. This town is almost 14 kilometers away from Tigbauan, Iloilo.

Fuel price in Shell fuel station in Sto. Domingo, Villa in the same day, June 29, 2011. The fuel station in Tigbauan, Iloilo offers only two types of fuel type, but with much lesser price compared to the fuel station in Villa, Iloilo. Unleaded gasoline is P1.05 cheaper, and diesel fuel is P1.55 cheaper. There are many fuel stations in between, belonging to the Big 3 oil companies and some new oil players having the same price with the fuel station in Villa, Iloilo. Given this option of price difference between the choices of fuel station, which would you choose?

After few days of no progress in the road construction late morning of June 10, 2011, new supplies for the road construction in Brgy. Parara sur/ Norte were delivered. The supplies consisted of 1 truck of cement and iron bars.

When will the work continue?

Latest status of the road construction in Brgy. Parara Sur/ Norte, Tigbauan, Iloilo. This video was taken last May 31, 2011. You can see that water stagnated on the side of the unfinished lane of the road. They blamed the rainy season... Why was the construction reached the month of June 2011? I wonder if they have any time table on the road construction?

These were the latest pictures of the road construction in Brgy. Parara Sur/ Norte, Tigbauan, Iloilo. The left first picture was taken last May 17, 2011, and the second picture was taken last May 20, 2011.

At last, we can now see a portion of the road! The workers have started cementing a portion of the road... Only a portion?

I have learned from the people around that the workers started working around 10am and ended at lunch time. The reason? There was no more gravel for the concrete mixture! They delivered 1 truck of gravel in the afternoon, and thats it!

I will try my best to monitor the development of this road construction, and I hope that the people concerned will see the slow development on this project.

Its a sunday (May 15, 2011) and is expected to have no work in the road construction. The cement delivered yesterday was not a delivery of additional supplies, but as a replacement to the old cement that was stocked beside the Nak Store for an unknown period of time.

According to the people who delivered the cement, they said that their boss ordered for the replacement of the old stock of cement for it was of the wrong type! (???) When they did know that it was the wrong type of cement?

Lets enjoy the weekend and see what will happen on the story of the "Ang Karsada" series...

Movement has happened... supplies were delivered! Cement, etc... All in the afternoon of 14 May 2011.

But still, no movement, no progress in construction.

Lets just continue drinking and see what will happen next...

Brgy. Parara Sur, Tigbauan, Iloilo, May 13, 2011

Lets start this blog with a look on a road construction in our place. These are pictures of a road construction that is currently undergoing in Barangay Parara Sur, Tigbauan, Iloilo. This road is located in the central portion of the barangay, were "The Landmark" monument is located. Actual picture documentation started last May 13, 2011. The pictures will tell the status of the work that has been done on the road construction. The project started already about 3 weeks before the documentation.

For anyone who would like to comment on the road design, work method, or the Work Schedule, or anyone who just want to say something... Feel Free!!! :) The only question that I want to ask to the people concerned, why no one is working?
